Kaghan Valley is the biggest attraction for tourists from all over Pakistan. It covers an area of 155 KM. It is situated at a height of 2134 feet and its highest point is BABUSAR TOP (13690 feet).
River Kunhar follows this valley. This valley has many beautiful landscapes that attract tourists the most. In Summer this area becomes the most rushy area of all the hilly areas of Pakistan.
This valley has many glaciers, lakes, famous mountains, and other resting points.
Traveling Towards Kaghan
Like Naran, if you want to go in your personal car you will have to travel to Islamabad and then to Balakot, Abbottabad, and Mansehra. Then you can travel to Kaghan.
And if you are using local buses then you can get any bus from Balakot that will take you to the Kaghan Valley.
If you are going from Lahore the total distance is 594.2 KM. You can cover this distance in almost 10 to 12 hours.

Where to Stay?
You will get your rooms easily and at very cheap rates in Kaghan. People usually prefer to go to Naran and stay there. But in peak season it is advisable to book your room previously. As the number of tourists is increasing every year.
Kaghan Climate
Kaghan has the same weather as Naran but in Naran, the nights are colder. In Summer rainy weather with 10 to 12 degrees Celsius and in night the temperature can drop to 3 to 2 degrees Celsius.
You can visit Kaghan from May to September and after that, the snow season starts and the roads are blocked, so you can not go there.
Also, you can move to SHOGRAN where you can see the most beautiful SIRI and PAYE MEADOWS.
