Pakistani former cricket team captain Shoaib Malik and tennis star Sania Mirza got married on 12 April 2010, in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim ceremony at the Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad. They have a son, his name is Izhaan Mirza Malik, born in 2018. Sania and Shoaib celebrated birthdays together in October.

According to different sources, one of their close friends has said that Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik have decided to officially get divorced and only paperwork formalities were left.

However, just, there have been assertions that Sania and Shoaib’s marriage is in confusion and that the couple is planning to separate.
Shoaib Malik is currently in Pakistan for sports during the T20 World Cup 2022 as a professional and Sania Mirza is in Dubai. The rumors about their parting started doing rounds over the internet after Sania Mirza public an Instagram post before this week, which read “Where do broken hearts go? To find Allah.”
