Whether you have chosen any operating system chosen, or just upgraded to Windows 10, this can also make a big difference. Some steps that can help improve the performance of the computer are:
Remove unnecessary programs from your Computer
Check your computer regularly, along with preventing every program on your computer from starting with Windows, you should regularly review which programs you no longer need and uninstall them.

Remove apps from Startup
When you power on your computer, it takes a long time to start up. Follow the steps.
Click the Windows button or use the shortcut key (Windows key + r), click “run,” then type “MSConfig” into the run box. Click on the “Startup” option. Uncheck/disable the following types of options: antivirus, Adobe Acrobat, Google Toolbar Notifier, and further options that you don’t need in a startup with your computer.
Clean Your Storage Drive

Browser Cleaning
To increase your speed on the internet, you should clean your browser history regularly.
To clear history from your Chrome browser, click the three-dotted bars icon in the upper right corner, then click “Tools,” then “Clear Browsing Data,” and then check the history boxes, cookies, and cached items.
Remove Malware and scan
You should regularly scan your computer system to get rid of any malware that might be slowing your computer down.

Add More RAM Memory
If you want to increase the speed of your system, you can also make changes to the RAM. You can add more RAM (Random Access Memory) memory until the computer is at capacity. RAM advantages: When software applications, files, and documents are opened, RAM is copied from secondary storage to RAM. Data stays in RAM until applications and files are closed. The computer boots up again, and the OS (Operating System) is copied from secondary storage to RAM.
Defrag Your Drive
Defrag, if you need to keep your computer running at its best, you should always defragment or consolidate files and documents on your storage drive. Defragmenting your storage drive improves your computer performance. Defragment your drive or schedule it to perform this action automatically. In general, you can do this weekly or after 14 days. However, if you regularly download, uninstall, move, or install new programs, you may need to do it more frequently and regularly.
