That edition, The Rhymes of William Shakespeare, consists of 154 Rhymes, all written within the sort of three verses and a couplet that’s now familiar as William Shakespearean.

The Rhymes fall under two sessions, Rhymes 1-126, spoke to a favorite buddy, a good-looking and decent young man, and Rhymes 127-152, to a nasty but charming “Dark Lady,” whom the poet loves despite himself. Nearly all of William Shakespeare’s rhymes depict the unavoidable decline of your time, and therefore the immortalization of beauty and love in rhymes.
