The personalities have escaped us year 2022

2022 is ending soon, as all past years have. The people who passed away this year will be remembered for a long time. Many important people died in 2022, including religious and social activists, politicians, actors, and journalists, among others.

Bilqis Edhi

ImproveShow HardOn 15 April 2022, the well-known welfare and social worker of Pakistan, Bilqis Edhi, passed away at the age of 74. Bilqis was born in 1947 in Karachi. Abdul Sattar Edhi’s widow helped him establish the Edhi Foundation. He was a famous social leader who was recognized globally.

He received the ‘Hilal Imtiaz’ from the Government of Pakistan for his work, and she was called The Mother of Pakistan. The Indian Government gave her the ‘Mother Teresa Award’ in 2015.

Masood Akhtar

Masood Akhtar is considered one of the most famous actors in Pakistan. He passed away on 5 March 2022 after battling cancer. Masood Akhtar was born in Sahiwal, Pakistan on September 5th, 1940. He began his artistic career during the 1960s and became a well-known stage actor.

Bilqis Khanum

Bilqis Khanum passed away in December 2021, she was a well-known singer. She has created thrilling of her voice in many famous songs of the music industry and films, including  ‘Anokha Ladla’, ‘Kuch Din To Baso’, ‘Voh To Khushboo Hai ‘, ‘Faasle Aise Bhi Honge’, and many others.

Arshad Sharif

Arshad Sharif was a famous Pakistani journalist. Arshad Sharif was born in Karachi, Pakistan on 22 February 1973. He was a very hard worker, creative, and unique personality in the media industry of Pakistani. He started his career in the Pakistani media industry when he first emerged on a private news channel as an anchor.

Arshad Sharif was a freelancer, journalist, photographer, and writer. Arshad Sharif was shot dead in Kenya on 23 October 2022. The investigation of the Arshad Sharif murder case into his killing is ongoing.

Aamir Liaquat Hussain

Aamir Liaquat Hussain was found dead in his residence on 9 June 2022. Aamir Liaquat Hussain was a famous television personality, comedian, game show host, and anchor person, so that’s no need for any introduction. When the employee went to the room, Aamir Liaqat was lying on the bed in a coma.

He was hurried to the hospital where doctors endorsed his death. Due to the generator running, smoke was rising from his room and he probably died of suffocation. according to different sources, the family of Amir decided not to do the autopsy, and could not settle the cause of death.

Rehman Malik

Reman Malik was a central leader and former interior minister of the (PPP) Pakistan People’s Party. Rehman Malik passed away on  February 23, 2022, at age 70. Due to the lungs being affected by the coronavirus.

Rehman Malik held the post of Federal Interior Minister from PPP for the longest time in the history of Pakistan. He was one of the trusted associates of Benazir Bhutto.

Khawar Kiani

Pakistan’s legendary actress and singer Hadiqa Kiani’s mother Khawar Kiani also passed away on 15 October 2022. The deceased wrote the lyrics of the famous song ‘Bohe Bariyan’ sung by her daughter Hadiqa Kiani.

Those familiar with Khawar Kiani are well aware of his grace, dignity, and strength. Moreover being a keen and liberated mother, Khawar Kiani was the principal of a government girls’ school and a poet.
