The final results of the conference were the agreement of the cabinet to encourage General Syed Asim Munir NIM (Nishan-e-Imtiaz military) for the admired rank of Field Marshal. The decision respects his extraordinary leadership, strategic talent, and courageous command during the recent military conflict. His role was important in crushing Pakistan’s sovereignty and the enemy’s advances.
