Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given a comprehensive plan. A soft launch of the app is planned to address any technical issues before the full rollout. The Power Division has been given one month to finalize the strategy for phasing out meter readers. Clear responsibilities have been assigned to the Pakistan Electric Power Company. (PITC) And also Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO), covering planning, deployment, and oversight of the project. Along with Apna Meter Apni reading. Other applications, such as Power Smart App, CCMS+, and Lineman Mobile Solution, will also be introduced and will be fully tested to support the change.
