However, we should have knowledge that not all hiking trails are suitable for ladies and kids. So the best options are:
1) Margalla Hills-Trail 3
They are situated at the foot of the Himalayas. There are almost 30 hiking trails in Margalla hills. However, Trail 3 is the oldest and the most maintained hiking trail. Moreover, it has many parking opportunities. The viewpoint is the place where you can see the whole of Islamabad. Families usually go at that point. Where you finish your hiking you will have Monal Restaurant. Where the view of Islamabad is spectacular. Due to the cleanliness and other conditions, it is the best trail for hiking.
This is the best trail for beginners. Not so friendly but you can enjoy them in summer also. This peak is at 2960 meters and the base area starts at Nathia Galli.
Located in Abbottabad in the Kpk province, it takes 4 hours to reach the top. You can have a spectacular view of the Jhelum River and Tarbela Lake. If you go there in the daytime you will have a glorious view of the Mighty Nanga Parbat.
3) Deosai National Park
It is the best place for hiking that you can experience. This is the second-largest Plateau in the world. The beautiful wildflowers will welcome you firstly. It covers 3000 square KM and has a height of 4000 meters. Deosai means “LAND OF GIANTS”.Summers bring beautiful flowers and butterflies so families can go there and have an amazing view of the heaven on Earth.
4) Dunga Gali-Ayubia Track
This is known as a Pipeline Track. As it follows the route of Murree Pipeline. The hike from Dunga Gali to Ayubia is appealing as it has fresh pine trees and stunning sceneries. This 5 Km trail is best who do not want to climb highly steep mountains. You can sleep in the middle of this track is nowhere. This hiking is the hike you can do with your kids as it goes to the Ayubia National Park.
5) Ratti Gali Lake Track
It is located in the Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir. Firstly you have to do a scary jeep ride from Dowarian to the Ratti Gali base camp which will take approximately 3 hours. Then after reaching the base camp you will have 2 to 3 hours of hiking. The difficult one. You can also have a horse ride to the top. Reaching the top you will have the view of the Ratti Galli lake, the crystal blue water that is surrounded by the snowy mountains.
6) Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parbat Base Camp
Fairy meadows are the most famous ones as they give the view of Nanga Parbat. These are 8125 meters in Height. And it takes almost 8 hours to hike there in summers when there is no snow. The view is amazing. The 9th highest mountain seems to be talking to the sky.
7) Naltar Valley
In the winters it is known as the Magic Carpet of Pakistan. The sky competitions are held under the Pakistan Air Force there. It is between the beautiful cities of Gilgit and Baltistan. The center of the valley is called Naltar Bala and is the best view you have ever seen in your life. Most of the area is covered with forests.
